Cavescapes: Carlsbad Caverns
For this gallery, I chose to convert all of the images to monochrome. By eliminating the color, the formations, for me, become more surreal and organic, accentuating the unusual shapes and textures of these wonderful natural formations.

You have done it again. By creating stronger blacks and whites, the forms really pop, allowing the unique formations to have more definition. Some fantastic, surreal images, you go girl!
I am NOT a cavewoman, but you have really captured my imagination here, Iris.
Fantastic shapes, abstracts, composition, made all the better by your choice of B&W.
Incredible images of incredible shapes!
The black and white adds great texture and interesting detail to the photos. The formations look supernatural and awesomely odd. What a creative idea!
What more can I say Iris. You're good. Fabulous mountain scenes and landscape pics. I
fabulous images, having toured the caverns i especially think you captured the wonder.
Wow! What a great place to photograph. As always, great!
You keep getting better and better.
