Simply stunning images. My favorites are the ones where the main subject is not stuck right in the middle of the frame. But that is a *very* minor quibble--you have a real eye for portraits, you visited a part of the world almost no one else gets to, and I am sure I'll be coming back again and again to your gallery. Voted!

The thing I like most in your galleries of candid portraits is the sense of dignity you see in the people you photograph...and the sense of us all being in the human family. This is a heck of a gallery.

I saw radiant beauty in those people, Ira. They look so pure, calm, and truthful, as their smiles are heartfelt and and their eyes are naturally rendered with fulfillment and love. Beauty doesn't need to be speckless or wrinkleless...now I have a burning urge to go to those places and visit their spiritual glories - and sense them in the most primitive presence.
