Ashley @ Singapore Jurong Bird Park

Ashley is very fond of birds and gets really happy every time one flies past her bedroom window. She also has a lot of animal picture books and whenever she sees an image of a bird, she will excitedly say "Duck!". Oh well.

Anyway, to broaden her knowledge of birds, we took her down to the Singapore Jurong Bird Park, one of the largest parks of its kind in the world that boasts over 9000 birds. Hard to believe, but this park has been open since 1971; and the last time I visited was when I was still a young boy. It must have been over 20 years ago!

Info:
The bird park is open every day from 9am to 6pm and costs $18 for adults and $9 for children between 3-12 years old.

Details of the place can be found here.
