A few record shots from a week-end trip to Kaeng Krachan (12-13 january). A serious timing mistake for birding - the place was absolutely crammed with day-trippers, both camping grounds were full to the last square meter, the road up to the summit was regularly blocked by traffic jams. We spent most of our time searching for Pin-tailed Parrotfinches that were reported from the Thortrip Waterfall area. After a long morning of hiking through the jungle we found them at the parking lot where we started ... we didn't see much else, and I didn't get any decent shots.
