Dear Ingo Waschkies,

At the moment www.birdpix.nl is producing a book on the owls and birds of prey in Europe. For this publication we are still looking for high quality pictures for a number of species and we came across your picture of an Eleonora's Falcon at http://www.pbase.com/ingotkfr/image/134523885
Our question is if you are willing to let us use this picture in this publication.

The book will at first be published by REBO-publishers, but it is likely that Birdpix will also publish it's own edition.
It goes without saying that all photographers will be acknowledged in the book and that you will get a fee for the use of the picture in this publication only.

Please let us know if you would be so kind to cooperate in this production.

Best wishes
Jaap Schelvis

I spent hours watching your favourite shots. I often broke out into laughter from the sheer perfection of the photos and the realisation that I personally have a long way to go to attain the quality levels that you are at. Many respects and compliments.

Dear Ingo Waschkies,

Lars Svensson, Jim Martin and I are searching for images of Siberian Rubythroat for publication in the HWPB (see below). We will be happy to conceder publishing the concerned image photographed by you:

www.pbase.com/ingotkfr/image/111388060

At this stage please kindly only submit the concerned image as low-res jpeg for our ref, and please add to the file name your name, and locality and month of the year the images was taken.

Your help will be much appreciate.

The images are for the long waited and forthcoming HWPB (="Shirihai, H. & Svensson, L. in prep. Handbook of Western Palearctic Birds. A & C Black. London") and which we are working on (already in the past 10 years), i.e. now doing the final image selection for the first volume (passerines). As you may know, in this book Lars and I have described all species ID, all races and all the plumage variation on fresh; we also aiming to cover in this work the major spectrum of plumage variation for all species.

We have c. 400 photographers that contribute for the WP collection of the this book project (HWPB) and we have nearly everything, and now trying to fill the gaps... We hope you could collaborate with us.

Thanks in advance,

Hadoram Shirihai (+ Jim + Lars)

Hi

While searching for birds at Keechan I came across your wonderful gallery - Birds of India - Rajasthan (Dec 2007). A great collection.

I was planning to do a small pictorial write-up on Keechan for my travelogue - armchairtravelogue.blogspot.com as well as for Google Earth Community where I have made several posts under the pseudo name of CuriousJM.

I seek your permission to use 2/3 photos from your collection for above write-ups.

Needless to say I will give due credit to you and will also link back to the web page showing the image. (Can I hotlink the image directly or do I have to copy it in my server and then upload it afresh?)

The travelogue is a non-profit ads free blog which I have created as a pastime and I do not derive any monetary benefit from it or Google Earth Community Forum which is also ads free.

I will be thankful if you could please reply by e-mail.

Hi Ingo, great photo's, you must have put a lot of time in to get so many great shots but your patience has certainly paid off! Thanks, Paul.

Your varied bird galleries are just amazing! I'm curious how you managed to find such birds in all those countries. It's not likely you lived in all of them. You have some of the better pictures than the locals. Can you share how you find the birds and approach them so you could get such shots? I've a lot to learn and would appreciate learning from you. Or do you join bird tours? Thanks.
