F Stop samples at 18 and 50mm with full size

In this gallery all images are not retouched, and developed using Nikon Capture 4.4.2 and Photoshop CS as follows.

1. CA correction applied in NC, transfered to PS with 16 bit color depth.
2. USM applied(100%,radius 1.0, threshold 2) in L channel in LAB color space.
3. Color space to sRGB.
4. Color depth to 8 bit.
5. saved as JPEG(quality 8 to 12)

My D200 settings are following:

Image Optimization presets: Custom
Color space: Adobe RGB
Sharpening: None
Tone: Normal
Color mode: II
Saturation: Normal
Hue: 0°

Original images are so large that it might take some time to download, be careful.

Looks very sharp at f5.6! Would also love more photos accross the zoom range at different f-stops if you could.

Thanks for the comparisons, I am trying to decide between this lens and the 17-70 Macro - could you possibly provide more samples full size accross different f stops of scenes with buildings, landscapes, etc.. It would be much appreciated.
