I have looked at your photos from Iceland because I am considering the 18~200 lens for my new Nikon, but after seeing he gorgeous images taken with the 18~70 at the lake and the sunsets, I don't think I will be happy with the 18~200. The images can not compare in depth, clarity and sharpness to the 18~70. I will have to keep searching for a good sharp lens or buy the 18~70. This will be my first Nikon experience. I have used Canon 20D and 30D with the Canon L series zoom 100~400 (heavy) and the Canon 24~70. Almost all of my photos are of wildlife, so I needed the extra focal length. I was thinking about a good vacation lens, but I value sharpness so much that I think I will never be happy with the Nikon 18~200 lens. Your pictures are just beautiful (but not the ones with the 18~200) You are truly an artist with your camera.
