Fabrication Nightmare

We had a super road trip this past weekend. Met up with some shooters
from Regina and Saskatoon..and we had lots of fun and shot some cool places.
This is an image we got on the way home today. The first thing I thought of
shooting this was the "Fabrication Nightmare" the design team in Detroit must
have put them through. The cars of the late fiftes and early sixtes are rolling
pieces of art, just look at all the detail on this tail fin of this Pontiac.
Draw this out then craft it in clay, build all the tooling and make it all fit
together. This took some work in the day and some bold moves by the design team.

Awesome shot Mike, accompanied by a great observation. They really were works of art.

That is sooooo cool! Yep, they don't make um like this anymore! Love the shot! Cool comp! ;))

Great shot! Comp is just right with the background. This would make a great fine art print for the classic car lover. Not sure on the model though, not much of a pontiac man. :(
