Shallow DOF

This ones for John Buffin http://www.pbase.com/frsty50
John asked if I had shot an image of this house with a "Shallow DOF"
It was a windy morning that day so I had quite a time even getting this image.
I know it's not the best but I liked it the most out of the group.
I have lot's of images like this...they may make a cool gallery I don't know yet.
But we will see....let's see the new name could be "Blured Abstraction"
As in a blured work of art...hum....that sounds cool.
What do you all think?

Nikon D200
1/640s f/5.6 at 50.0mm iso100 full exif

other sizes: small medium original auto

Oops. Sorry about that. I totally missed this one with everything going on this weekend.
Very nice!! This is exactly what I was thinking of. Steve's got a good idea there.

Great work Mike. Make me think of shadow boxes...but on a much bigger scale.
(And BTW, did they find this home's piano yet?)

I like it alot. For me, shallow DOF always creates some thoughts about the image.

I like this! The empty homestead in behind the wheat is almost symbolic. The 'harshness' of it all fits the scene well. As for a gallery, if they all told a story like this - then lets see em!

I like it too Mike, and there is so much you could do with this. Imagine this shot at sunrise/set.
