Blurred Vision

As a hardened Nikon shooter you just have to look at this new camera.
I don't shoot at 8fps and the DX size sensor works fine for me.
But the low light images this new camera can capture is right up my alley.
Most of my time is spent at F/10 and lower at shutter speeds into the minuites
thats were this camera would shine for me. I have "Blurred Vision" if I ever think
I could justify a $5700.00 camera...dream on Mike dream on......
My D200 has worked just fine over the past 2 years..but I do see a D300 in the crystal ball.
Blurred vision on the D3...but very clear on the D300.....

Nikon D200
4s f/10.0 at 18.0mm iso100 full exif

other sizes: small medium original auto

Haha... Nikon did huge confusion with this newest serie of cameras. It's really hard to jusify 5G camera when D300 is so close to it and even has some advantages (like better focus points density, pixel density) but high ISO and that miraculous of D3 hmmm....

Nicely done Mike. Love the shot--and I'm with you. :)

Ditto Mike; just don’t know how far the ball is seeing. And a great image to emphasize the point. (Seems you stirred up a contentious issues with this.)

Ha...this is too funny. I am weeks, if not days, away I think. I can EASILY come to terms with the money. I have definately spent far more on far worse. ;) D3? Yeah.....that's another story.

Well Mike.. I just about made the plunge on the weekend! I had the d300 in my line of sight, I had my plan of sleeping on the couch figured out and the IT happened... The "salesman" told me he was too busy to deal with me. Oh yes, He was leaning on the counter at this point. My wife is greatful for the salesguy's ignorance! Oh well.. Other stores have them! My bed will comfy for a little while longer! BTW - Jim to Canon? Hmmm I think not!

You're in the clear, Mike. I'm going to work on converting Jim to Canon.
I can't have the two of you ganging up on me. ;)

Who will get it first? You or Jim?
