One Tree School

This school is very close to the American border in south east Saskatchewan.
I often wonder if the US kids could hear the Canadian kids and vice versa playing in their school yards in the dead of winter on a cold day when the sound seems to travel forever. Only a border was between them but they could not cross without permission from our Governments.
Young kids this close but yet so far......

Cool old school. Yes, so close but yet so far away. I wonder too if they could hear each other. Beautiful shot and wonderful story behind it!

I bet the Canadians could hear the Americans! ;) How funny that I also chose an old schoolhouse for my photo today...
