Midnight Mass

I brought Arlene with me tonight to show her how to paint with light.
This is St Columba with the lights of Tuxford in the distance.
I tried something new by adding a bit of light to the head stones from my SB800 and red gel.
This was painted from three locations outside four locations inside and two locations with the flash within 119 seconds.......

Nikon D200
119s f/5.6 at 18.0mm iso200
SB800 with gel full exif

other sizes: small medium original auto

... not only is this a very beautiful picture, but apparently a full aerobic workout as well.

Excellent lighting Mike. I like all of these painted light shots but this one is my new favorite!

This is so great. I love the red on the deep blue sky. Nice work.

Very cool...almost eerie with the red tombstones.
