I had the pleasure of being the teacher at BORSZCZOW school pictured in DSC_7269 from September 1952 to the end of June 1954. As it was my first teaching position, I still remember students whose family names were Bayda, Bachynski, Hnatiuk, Remanda, Solar, and Sherban. As cars made travel to larger centers easier, local businesses were not able to compete and died.
