"Grinch Stole Christmas"

As a photographer it's going to happen to you someday, and more often then not, those words 'can I ask you something".
Right away depending on the person you start to think, 'how much is this going to cost me", you know they need your services for free.
The person asking this time I know very well and always pays for photo work being done so I think fire away but it's way to late for Christmas.
Turns out that they go over to Jean Vanier Catholic School and play Santa and hand out gifts to all the 25 or so "Special Needs" kids.
Yes they asked me to take all pictures, so I shot everything in jpeg ran to Walmart and printed 5 x 7's and we got them back to the school with frames so each one could take it home with them today.......
This image from today was sooo moving for me. He never smiles never ever and he looked like the "Grinch" but not green...
I never stopped chatting about it for the rest of the day!!!!! This is one job I did not hesitate to do for free.

Good deed well done by all of you and I see a "hint" of a smile on that child.

Nice story, Mike. I have a special needs kid and wouldn't trade her for anything. Fortunately, she smiles almost constantly.

Hooray for you Mike, it's always a great feeling when you can do something like this and the kids and their parents appreciate it also! Nicely done! V!
