Headin' Back To School

Well we finely got the "old car" out for a cruze today. There was a rod run in town and the weather was nice.
I fired up the old girl and we drove over with the cameras for some shots.
After the run we headed over to Boston Pizza (thanks to Vatorman) and had a early birthday super for me.
So I have the cameras and say to Arlene I need a picture of my car, I don't have good one yet.....LOL
We cruze a few back alleys looking for a spot, the light and the place had to be right for me.
Arlene says we should head up to the old abandoned Ross School, sure why not let's go I say.
We get there the light is just about right and Arlene wants me to park it on the street in front of the school...hum....
How about we drive it down the wide side walk and I park it right in front of that cool step......yup.
So here you have it my 1965 Impala powered by a 400hp/396in big block right were it should be....at an abandoned city school.

Big block baby. As the saying goes, there's no replacement, for displacement.
Nice shot, Mikey.

Amazing how a simple conversation can spark a future moment in time. Thanks for sharing her Mike.

You are lucky to own her Mike! We had 2 different '65's while I was growing up, but only 283's and one was a wagon with a 3 speed. The capture and color on this are amazing! It isn't easy to make that metallic light green really pop = but you have certainly achieved it here. Great shot. ~V~

Pt II - (too fast on my first round). Darn tooting; right up to the doors. You have to get the right light :)
Hope you had a nice meal too!.
