Straight To The Curve

I don't know the more I shoot these "On The Ground" highway shots the more I like'm.
You always have to be on the look out for traffic too.....coming from behind you!!!!
Once you master the fisheye these wide angle images are easy to get with minimal lens curve.

Nikon D300 ,Nikkor 10.5mm f/2.8G AF ED DX Fisheye
1/800s f/10.0 at 10.5mm iso200 full exif

I really like this point of view - keep 'em coming. I enjoy the tying theme of the road combined with the fact that if you explore the rest of the image you see the heterogeneity of the Saskatchewan landscape - something many people mistake as being rather homogeneous. ~Big Vote~ from an ex-prairie dweller.

Taking your life in your own hands! Geez...I'd get run over in a heartbeat! This is so good, I can hardly contain myself! BAV!!!!!

Now that's a perspective. Putting the fisheye to good use I see. What a depth of field too. You've got the details on the road and the forest in the distance. Can't do that kind of shot here, or you'll get run over. "V"

That's the great thing about SK - little or no traffic. And you're right Mike they are great. BV! Hmmm, maybe I'll try this on the Queensway ;)
