Crying Song

Originating Gallery: Pink Floyd Song Titles

When I noticed this fellow, I couldn't help but lift the camera and take a shot.
I hope his life isn't as sorrowful as this shot portrays.

We cry and cry
Sadness passes in a while

The 'Crying Song' is a lovely ballad that was released in 1969.

Wonderful shot, Inga. I hope he is just taking a moment to collect himself but definitely a great interpretation for the song title!

Excellent candid. I hope he is just resting but it sure gives the impression that he is at the end of his tether.

What a catch. Perhaps he isn't crying at all, but it sure looks like it.

He forgot to buy the cat food, his wife will kill him.... and the cat will starve.... and the mice will overrun the town... and everyone will hate him .... what will happen .... he might just become another brick in the wall. :(

A very emotionally charged image and a strong composition.

Wow...that's a strong shot, Inga! Nicely composed, I like the downward-ness of everything - the steps, the handrail, his whole body attitude and language..it's all draining away out of the right hand side... It must take a lot of nerve to take a shot like this - good for you!
Barbara Heide08-Nov-2009 18:59
yes, very powerful! excellent match!
Kathryn08-Nov-2009 16:22
Powerful! Can't help wondering hope all works out well for him.

A very strong image with this pose of dejection in this urban scene. The fallen leaves, the plastic bags and the peeling paint add to the feeling of despair. "V"

Oh I hope that he is not crying! Maybe he is just shading his eyes from the sun?
Wonderfully seen Inga!
