Arrow Crab Spawning

Underwater photography would be so much easier if there was no current and no surge! Even the slightest bit of either can ruin a shot. I have been skunked so many times this year trying to get shots of Arrow Crabs spawning. I will have everything lined up for a good shot and wait for the release of eggs only to have them blasted off behind the arrow crab by a swift current. So frustrating! Here you can see in the first shot that I have everything framed nicely and I half pressed the shutter in wait for the release of the zoea but ever so slightly the current is pushing my hand closer to the crab and this resulting second shot is not what I had in mind! At least, everything is in focus! I keep trying!
