Chris, The lens in the photo is Canon's 100-400 zoom. Probably the reasons it looks bigger are having the lens hood attached and the viewing angle. Steve

Chris, Are you really a beginner as you say? Your pictures look awesome. I was not able to see info on what lens each picture is taken with. Was that removed on purpose, or is just not present? Any ways, nice composicions and balance/saturation of colors. Take care, Armando (arodri3 at dpreview).

Thank you for visiting my pics and your nice comments. As to what camera I use, that picture was taken with the Konica Minolta DiMage Z20. I like its macro capability. I also have the Z10, Olympus C-700UZ, and my newest Nikon D-70 with the 80-400 VR lens.
