 Gibson County Sheriff's deputy Bruce Vanoven carries two of nine children that were inside a home when an explosion occurred. An explosion occurred when aerosol cans near an outdoor grill exploded, setting the house on fire. Everyone got out okay. |
 Resident James Bradley had just arrived home after working at his job at in Evansville when he discovered he and his father, John Bradley were now homeless. A fire, apparently started by a discarded cigarette, spread quickly through the roof at the apartments, destroying 36 units. |
 Vaughn Collins gently handles a swarm of bees that landed around a queen bee on the trunk lid of a car. Collins was able to safely remove the bees and relocate them to a hive on his property outside of town. |
