We spent the weekend in Dhikala, which is in the center of the Jim Corbett National Park with our friends. In total there were 4 adults and 3 kids in our party so that pretty much scared all the animals away during the elephant ride with all our noise ;-)
However, we still managed to get in jeep safari's that were quieter and saw an elusive tiger, which was very exciting. Dhikala is a government run place and as such is basic, but clean and relatively well run (though it has it's internal politics). At this time of the year though (February) it gets very cold at night!
