Graveyard at Poplar Grove

I am not entirely sure why I am drawn to these small graveyards. Partly because they present a record of early European settlement in Nova Scotia, and partly because they are oddly picturesque.

I completely agree with the picturesque part! This shot has a strong feel to it. Makes me want to wander through the graveyard in person. I hadn't noticed the wildflowers at first. Very pretty.
