Technically it isn't Summer. Technically today's weather is NOT summer-like. But this scene reminds me of a summer scene (thus the clever title).

This willow is just outside our campsite (a little to the right of the canoes from yesterday's PaD).

Last night, my son & I caught 8 horn pout between the two of us off the dock (would be to the left of this tree), four a piece. This morning my daughter (Kala) and I each caught another horn pout, they were not really biting so it was luck that we caught what we did. I wish I had taken a photo of Kala's fish, it was at least a pound and put up a bit of a fight (it kind of freaked her out). Best part was that it spit out the hook once we got it up on the dock (usually they swallow the hooks). My son, daughter, & I plan on catching a lot more this evening (my oldest is actually babysitting right now and will be into the evening).
