Neptune's Court

The Equator, Atlantic Ocean.

***Best in Original Size***

As you view this image, dear friend, the fact is that you are either a trusty Shellback, or a slimy Pollywog.
If you are a Shellback, then of course you will know what I mean. If you are a Pollywog, then you are to
be pitied, and should not go near the ocean. As a Shellback five times over (Warships and Liners,) I have
paid my respects at the Court of King Neptune, kissed the baby, suffered the sea water dousing, and paid
my fines. And I sleep well at night, knowing that Neptunis Rex has my name inscribed in the Good Book.

All I can offer a Pollywog is that they should read up on this ancient rite of ocean passage,
and find a way to be at sea as they cross the world's equator. Perhaps you should start HERE.

"And those who were seen dancing were thought to be insane by those who could not hear the music."--Friederich Nietzsche
