Tilted Street
by Rod Rees

First post with the Sigma 10-20mm lens.
I tried to make a "tilted" image that really isn't tilted.

great detail, I think the toning is perfect for this shot.

Wouldn't even be thinking of doing a shot like this - nice idea!

This has a very natural feel to it, precisely the way water would run downhill to the grates in the foreground. Plus, the detail in the far distance makes one look very closely to see what can be discerned. Very nice.

Fantastic!

I have this lens as well and enjoy using it - the B&W really lends itself to making the shot dramatic.

I really like the monochrome effect in this. It's drawn my eye into all of the rectangles - not just the grates, but in the street as well. I think color would have distracted me.

A good example of what that lens can do.

Nice and clear though
