Where Have All the Ice Houses Gone? ~ March 3

Lake Andrew, New London, Minnesota

A few days ago this lake was covered in ice houses and was a hubbub of activity. Today it stands empty... By law all overnight ice houses have to be off the lakes in our area by the end of February.

Spring may be near (or maybe not) but this looks plenty cold! A beautiful, pastel sunrise.
