Urgent Information???

Holy crap!
So today, I finally got my first mortgage bill.
It is from the "divorce mortgage" to pay "her".
I am struck by the fact that I pay the bank
more for the privilege than what I pay back.
But the crazy part:
In my right hand, is my FIRST mortgage bill.
In my left hand, all the mortgage junk mail.

"Urgent Information Concerning Mortgage"
"Payment Schedule Change Notice regarding loan..."
"Mortgage Protection Center"
"Mortgage Information Enclosed"
Every one of them arrived before
the first bill of the loan they
wanted to replace for me.
They proclaimed how I could lower
my payment if I more than doubled
the term of the loan and that I could
even take more money and take 40 years
to repay it if I wanted a better life
consolodated to one low monthly payment,
through the nose.

I actually wonder how many people go for this.
You just spent your time and money getting a loan,
how about you toss that out and start again with us?
It really seems like a huge waste of trees and money.
The funny part is that I got the first one
about 3 days after closing the new mortgage.
At least they work fast.
I have a great idea, seeing they know my bank
and seem to know everything about my mortgage,
why don't they just save the money from sending
all this crap and pay my mortgage for me.
That is the way they can save me money!
