Ring-billed Gull grabs a fish in the shallows

This Ring-billed Gull was following a Snowy Egret which was hunting for fish in the Shoreline Lake shallows.
The gull took my interest away from the egret because the gull was kicking it's feet to stir up the bottom just
as the egret does by shuffling it's foot in front of it. Just after the egret passed within 20 feet of me,
the gull grabed this fish.

I came across this photo on a google search for "FISH RING". You see, I once owned s small silver ring whose centerpiece was a small fish inside a square frame. Neat picture, I guess it came up as the fish in the circle or "ring" of life. Kudos.
