My Son, the Artist

It's freaking cold outside folks! It hasn't been much above zero all day with -20 winchills being the norm. The forecast for tonight is much of the same with lows between -6 and -10 below. Now the freaking weatherbug is chirping at me saying that we could get an additional 3-6" of that white crap tomorrow night.

So I'm sitting here at the computer this afternoon while Ian is playing in the next room. He comes over to me with something behind his back. He looks me in the eye and says that he's created something that he'll NEVER erase. He then holds it out in front of him to unveil his masterpiece portrait of his daddy. He was so proud of his artwork.

I'm sure that at some point in time it will get erased, but I made sure to take a photo of it.

Here he is sporting his best cheeseball smile.

Near 80 here today.
Good day for chalk drawings on the sidewalk!
It'll warm up there soon too.

Awesome picture Ian. Seriously. Make me a drawing of it and I'll put it on our "art" door.
