Another infrared from my day of experimenting with a D70 just converted to IR. A montage version is at http://www.pbase.com/image/92663851
Done while wandering around Big Meadows in Shenandoah National Park. My signature style for landscapes needs a foreground object - tough to find in the meadow. The little bit of a tree stump had to suffice. I should have gotten closer to it. Lots of deer droppings throughout the meadows; that might have made for an interesting foreground object.
Keeping things sharp throughout a landscape was never a problem with this camera. I was happy to see that nothing changed after the IR conversion. Lifepixel, the converters, "tuned" the focus for the Nikkor 18-70 which is what I used. Now that I have the 18-200 VR, I don't see the 18-70 being used except on this IR body.
