OLD MESSAGE
13-JAN-2008 LARRY DAVID BRADEN

OLD MESSAGE

Posted both at the Canadian border and along the Indiana border.

Thanks, Tom. I forgot.
Same exact thing in Texas (thanks Cindi Lou)
So similar, they gotta be relatives or something:

Beautiful image that makes you want to ignore the sign. I'd have to explore. :) Great find and wonderfully toned and captured. V.

Good idea, Tom. Sometimes I need a reminder.

Not many people seem to know where this sign is located, Larry ... perhaps you should tell them it's posted both at the Canadian border and along the Indiana border.

Hi Larry,
This is an absolutely wonderful shot! Love this picture. \/

The similarity between the Texas and Michigan tire signs is incredible. The letters are all formed the same way. I can't think of many reasons for the same folks to be passing through both places...Beekeepers, maybe? But that would only make sense if there were some kind of crop around that would make transporting hives worthwhile. I don't even know where to begin researching something like this.

Curiouser and curiouser!

You've created such an inviting and captivating image, wonder if you took heed of the tiresome message and stop your exploration there. Wonderful tones and light in your shot Larry.

There is an old Welsh (a country to the left of England) song called.
"We'll keep a welcome in the hillside".
So I went there (a few years ago).
Hand painted on lots of walls was the legend "English Bastards go home".
I went home and have never been back.
I always obey signs.

You sure you weren't in Texas? There's a ranch here with those hanging on the fenceline!

Nice find - and of course you didn't keep out, right?
