This is definitely one of the finest B&W images these old eyes have ever seen. Very nice, Duncan.
Jennifer K 21-Dec-2007 19:28
Absolutely fantastic work. Wow.
Stan Bonis 21-Dec-2007 15:25
Very nice interpretation of a well photographed view.
Lesley Mattuchio 20-Dec-2007 15:15
Appropriately named Falls for a wedding photographer...love the perspective.
Mike Johnston 20-Dec-2007 01:22
Awesome. Very good use of DOF.
Very goo B/W conversion.
Mike Meyer 19-Dec-2007 19:25
Great shot -- composition and B&W conversion reinforce each other.
Shane Lam 19-Dec-2007 08:23
Phew, what a magnificent view, great composition ;-)
Charles Lasnier 19-Dec-2007 07:11
A very dynamic shot.
Jim Kramer 18-Dec-2007 20:12
WOW - it's larger than life!
Paul DeRocco 18-Dec-2007 19:17
Amazing range of tonality. Dramatic angle, too. The angle is very different from the way Ansel photographed things, but I think he'd be proud to see what people are doing with his favorite place.

Love everything about this... subject, omposition, exposure, processing all spot on.
Even the "tilt" and the flare seem to work... gives it a somewhat "otherworldly" feel.
CJ Morgan 18-Dec-2007 14:48
Very nicely done here Duncan. What I like most about
this image is the back and forth play of "light against
dark and dark against light".
J Bryan Kramer 18-Dec-2007 14:26
Very nice indeed. In Ansel's style too.
