At 2AM a huge thunderstorm came down the valley striking the ridges with lightning and sending hurricane force winds through our camp. Both the Tadpole and the Bibler held up, but we didn't get much sleep that night. Dave's lucky no rocks fell on him. The next morning we hiked over the pass in the distance.
