Throughout the middle ages and for various reasons,many churches became physically removed from the communities they had served.Lambourne Church is one such church.A few houses still survive near to the church,the largest of which is Lambourne Hall.Almost a mile away to the south,and unconnected by road,is Lambourne End,served still by All Saints Church.
