Very nice Gary. I have a slide that was taken on Guam about 50 years ago that is very similar to this. There the ocean had a very metalic look almost like gray cold stainless steel. and no real color.

Really - I'm surprised that there would be so little color in the ocean, when the sky is so vivid - this is really cool. I would have thought that the water would have some reflective color.. It's like having a b/w and color picture all wrapped in one. I like it.

Sandy, I lightened the ocean a bit, but it didn't have much color to start with. A couple of lighter shots I took still showed the ocean as gray-ish colored.

Interesting - did you desaturate the ocean and beach, or did this effect occur naturally?
