Veterans Day!

I used to write my big brother faithfully once a week while he was in Vietnam.
He played soccer and lacrosse in school and I was in gymnastics, so I would
cut out the weekly school standings and anything else related to sports and
send to him. He would write to my dad as often as he could and always
included a few lines thanking me for the letter and clippings.
One day I finally got my own letter and 40 years later I still have it.
I was only 12 at the time but the proudest 12 year-old in the world.
Strange what we keep.
