Thank you Phil for continuing to visit and comment on this gallery. I think that the "lonely leaf" motif comes from the same inner source as my tendency to find the small details - it is an awareness that there is beauty in the simple that often we overlook that beauty. It is kind-of like a "pointillism" of the world - these simple detail compound to make a beautiful world.

image speaks of vulnerability, fragility, and, of course, loneliness.
