I wasn't sure and still am not sure what it is.
I think it is part of a seed but the detail in red is confusing.
I'm pretending it is a part of a tusk carved for an earing of an Indian Princess
or a ring of a Chief who both managed to escape with just their lives.
It is probably still there beside the driveway but I'm not going back.
I'll just live in my fantasy world.
Or maybe Carol is right. It is just part of a kids pumpkin that was drawn with red permanent marker.
