Baker Beach Panorama

Baker Beach is one of the most beautiful places on earth. Tranquility. Nature. The Pacific Ocean. All on the edge of a major city. The light is always changing, with fog that rolls in unpredictably and the sun reflecting off of the mountains in Marin. It's often completely empty in the morning.

This panorama was done with Photoshop CS3 by manually aligning the individual photos and then running auto blending. I find that Photoshop does a bad job with auto aligning.

A portion of the wave in front is not aligned. I could have fixed that by taking a portion of another photo and super-imposing it over that section. However, I do not like making substantive content changes in my photos, unless I note it in the comments.

There a five individual photos in this panorama.
