Kenko Extension Tubes

Extension tubes are used between the camera body and lens to allow focusing at a distance closer than the normal minimum focus distance of the lens. Tubes are used in macro photography to produce a larger image than could be obtained with a macro lens alone. The extension tubes do not contain any lenses, but act simply as a spacer between the lens and the camera body. The downside is that the lens will not focus at infinity when tubes are attached.
