7/26 - Challenge: Elements

Home, Pool

This week's Totally Informal Transglobal Thursday Challenge was "Elements" and this is my contribution.
Not at all what I originally envisioned, the weather really did me wrong. I had beautiful weather all
day but was waiting for the warm early evening light of the setting sun... A late afternoon rain
storm put paid to that idea so my fire and water idea ended up looking like a candle on a blue
background rather than what it really is...a floating candle in my pool.

Check out all the others going elemental with their photos today in this PAD Forum Thread.

Very lovely shot.

It looks like it is suspended in air instead if floating on water so you have three, fire, air and water. Well done!

I like it. I can see the slight reflection of the petals in the water. I can tell it's floating.
Guest 27-Jul-2007 02:50
I think this is beautiful!
