I guess I could tell you the song I'm attempting to interpret, but I think most people should be able to guess. Every time I think that I have nothing for the challenge and this will be the week I finally give up and don't participate, I end up doing something anyway. And why did I decide that I needed to make it a self-portrait? I hate getting dolled up when I get home from work. On the bright side, I didn't have to worry about wardrobe.

I managed to snap a couple shots as test shots and then download them onto the computer for processing. What do you know, the last test shot actually looked pretty decent. Everything glinted off the diamonds nicely. But the closeup of my face looked terrible. I softened it, and my face looked better, but the diamonds got lost. So, I played with layers. I'm new to the layer thing in PSP, but I thought I'd give it a try, and it didn't go too badly. If I'm going to do much more of this, I'll have to start reading Bob's book on portrait photography and learn not only how to process, but how to use one of the Alien Bees. This is not a hobby, this is not a hobby. . .
