Bronze Bug

This bug is much more beautiful than the photo shows. I am a real beginner with macro and I've always been especially interested in insects. It was dusk when I took the picture and it was quite windy. I want to try again when the wind dies down.

Wind is a real pain in the neck for macro photography! Try a bit of minus exposure compensation so your highlights don't burn out and maybe up your ISO a tad so you can get a faster shutter speed. This is a highly destructive Japanese beetle.

Looks like a japanese beetle. Look out - they pinch!
