Wanda rides every Sunday morning starting at 7:00 am. Today's ride was up and over Suncrest or also called the Point of the Mountain. It is the ridge that divides Salt Lake Valley from Utah Valley where we live. For movie buffs, the final battle scenes in "The Devils Brigade" 1968 was filmed near the top of the ridge where Wanda was riding this morning.

We had three very nice bucks cross the road between where I was getting ready to take some pictures and Wanda on her bike.

We have some really large forest fires in our area and the valley is filled with smoke. It made for interesting light and colors.

I spent a few more minutes photographing the deer as they slipped down a little gully.
