This is only a partial view at the Palace of Fine Arts in San Francisco. The lagoon has blue water, yes, tidy-bowl blue, which to me, looks terribly fake. The lagoon is overpopulated with swans, large koi and SO many turtles you won't believe your eyes. The architecture from this structure and the neighboring dome are breathtaking and worth the trip when you're in SF. Unfortunately, the pigeons had occupied most of the dome and the city had to install netting to keep them from migrating in the top of the dome which takes away from the beauty of the ceiling of the dome.
