Ruins Of Wiracocha Temple...

The most important building inside the complex is the "Wiracocha temple" that according to the old chroniclers was built by the Inca Wiracocha in honour to the Superior God invisible for the Andean people: "Apu Kon Titi Wiracocha". The "temple of Wiracocha" is a great construction for that age. Architectonically it is classified as "Kallanka", that is, a high building completely covered with straw (wood and "ichu"). Externally it is 92 meters long (302 feet) and 25.25 meter wide (83 feet). Its central wall was built with refined carved stones, the base is about 3 metres of adobe (bricks of sand with straw dried by the sun). This unique complex was actually a heavily-populated area, a tambo (inca word - inn place to rest) of vast dimensions, spreading across 264 hectares. The complex is made up of housing, temples, palaces, astronomical observations, food storehouses and walls. It is located on the right bank of the Vilcanota River between at 3550 meters above sea level..

Michael, you know me and what I can do when all powers of light vanish to Minotaurus ippodrome... Wiracocha himself was just behind my right shoulder when I triggered the shutter... They might argue, but... it's the most Satanic depiction of Inca's glory...

An Amazing photo.... it is as if Satan himself were standing behind it making the sky and clouds to glow... making it appear as if the ancient stones themselves were glowing and had some strange and mysterious powers. Superb. Michael.
