I've always liked this picture for the fact that it was
just supposed to be a 'snap' but turned out nice, and printed
up so well.
This was "low-light/high iso" the old school way. Looking back on it,
I realize that there are some memories of time, place, and history
Note the ad for the then "hot" new Minolta Vectis, APS film
camera. Innovative, and ultimately, a flop. The salesman was
representing an electronics chain that was rather big in the
NYC Tri-State area for years, "Nobody Beats The Wiz," better
known simply as "The WIZ." They folded in 2003.
The image was taken by my favorite camera at the time, the diminutive
