I flew up to Tampa for the day to visit my mother and half-sister in St. Petersburg. According to a log that I kept for a couple of years, I flew MIA to TPA on NA 24, a DC-8, departing MIA at 8:25am and arriving TPA at 9:13am. I rented an Airways Rent-a-Car 1974 Cougar XR-7 for $10 (airline employee rate). I returned to MIA on NA 177, a B727, departing TPA at 3:52pm, stopping at MLB (Melbourne) on the way back and arriving at MIA at 5:17pm. Normal air fare was $25 each way, employee pass rate was $6 each way.
