To get to Tangier Island you can take the boat from Reedsville, VA for a 1 1/2 hour ride across the Chesapeake Bay.

Most everyone on the island rides around on bikes or golf carts.
If you love seafood, walk to Hilda Crockett's Restaurant for family style meals and the best tasting crab cakes in the world. (IMHO)

I'm not sure of the history of this old building by the cemetery but it definitely appeared to be one of the older ones on the island....and it was sagging badly.
