Nice graphic touch and "inifinity lines" Larry. V

Try putting a gallon of milk in your tank! :) Great shot, and treatment, Larry. V!
1moremile 04-Jul-2007 23:45
Wow! I thought our gas prices were sky high. Your's are much worse.
John Cooper 04-Jul-2007 23:44
Look at http://www.pbase.com/john_cooper/image/81659019
Now you really have nothing to complain about.

In Holland, 6$ a gallon.
but don't think people will drive less ;-))
Enny 06-Jun-2007 07:47
haha, lol, great shot, the B&red works very well, great depth too.
yomaki 05-Jun-2007 11:12
great image! red works well in black & White! Superb!

Beautiful high contrast shot. Love the pure, clear blacks and whites, and the bright red lights scream, "Stop the nonsense!"
Karen Stuebing 26-May-2007 14:10
This says it all. Fill it up at these prices and sit through one redlight six times and use a 1/4 tank of gas because everyone can afford it apparently. Great composite.

I had to give up beer to pay for my gas...
Joy Miller 23-May-2007 17:56
Very well done. We pay by the litre, but it would be over $5 a gallon.
Bernard Bosmans 23-May-2007 10:47
Great work Larry, we're paying up to A$3.39
estralita 22-May-2007 20:17
It is 3.46 over here. Great effects.
Wei O'Connell 22-May-2007 03:29
Great treatment and select coloring.
I paid $3.69 today. That’s it, I am going to ride a bike to work tomorrow!!!
Soenda 22-May-2007 00:46
Yeah, how can you care what it costs if you're caught forever in gridlock anyway? All tanked up and nowhere to go.

Overlaying the image with the gas price sign was an inspired idea. The selective color, especially red, works well as a reference to traffic stopping. It's a fine image.
Dave Beedon 22-May-2007 00:33
It's higher than that in the Pacific Northwest (including Renton).
LeeG 21-May-2007 22:15
Very cool treatment.
LeeG 21-May-2007 22:15
Yow! I thought gasoline was only that high in California!
